Artur Alexanian, a goldsmith by trade, embarked on a journey to redefine eyewear. With no recorded history of precious metals being extensively used in eyewear over the past century, Artur pioneered the craft of gold eyewear in 2000. By 2012, he introduced watchmaking techniques into his creations, elevating each piece to an unprecedented level of craftsmanship.

A family-run atelier, Artur oversees the goldsmithing, his wife masterfully sets gemstones, and his sister expertly handles laser machinery. Together, they craft no more than 50 pieces per year, ensuring that each pair of glasses is an exclusive work of art.

Every hinge is made by hand, and each component is finished with the same level of care applied to the finest watch movements. Even the hidden sides of the screws are polished—an artisan’s touch that only the craftsman will truly appreciate, a similar concept to the finishing on the inside of watch movements.

Using only the finest materials, Alexanian works with 18k white, yellow, and rose gold. Each pair of glasses is meticulously tailored to its wearer, with the temple length and bridge width adjusted for a perfect fit.
