We’re very excited to collaborate with Real McCoy’s, a reproduction brand well known for taking inspiration from vintage Americana. Using the same materials and manufacturing methods from the 1940s and 50s, founder Hitoshi Tsujimoto and his team of craftsmen use an incredible amount of detail to meet the specs and quality of the original garments. This Armoury exclusive chambray shirt is inspired by Humphrey Bogart in the film “The Treasure of the Sierra Madre.” We opted for a light Japanese chambray instead of the original fabric for added breathability. We’ve updated the collar, raised the armholes, and tightened the cuffs for a more contemporary look, but preserved construction details such as the chain stitching and triple stitching for durability. A sharp-looking casual shirt that can be worn with chinos, jeans, and even tailored trousers.
The Armoury x Real McCoy’s chambray shirt will shrink 1.5″ in length and 0.5″ in chest, shoulders and sleeves after first wash, so we recommend purchasing one size up.
