Our leather goods makers each have a unique approach to their craft. We spoke to our artisans and team to pick out their favorite small leather goods ahead of the holidays.
"I love minimalism. With the A-2/ Pochetto I wanted to highlight the beauty and quality of the material with it’s simple origin inspired design"
— Fukaya-san
Shop“French leathers have a special coloration and beauty — they are particularly warm and rich. This piece is made from a type of grained leather, a tanning process which develops a naturally uneven pattern. The design takes advantage of this quality."

Shop"Keeping in mind ‘elegance’ and ‘flowing curve-lines’ as concepts, I put 100% of myself into making each piece. I imagine how it would age in years to come and choose a specific leather based on the outer. In the case of our tan Caltha I used box calf so that as the bag ages it will develop a beautifully soft texture. You can enjoy it for a long time."
— Komatsu-san
Shop"The sunbrella cloth is sturdy and stain resistant, yet refined. We developed the bag design in collaboration with The Armoury and it soon grew into a mini collection that we’re very proud of. This particular color is is perfect choice for casual or business travel.“

SHOPThe Medium Working tote is designed with function and practicality in mind. The large open compartment and full leather body allow you to comfortably carry whatever the dev demands.
"All our leathers are of the highest quality — veg tanned and aniline finished. This process provides a natural feel and appearance that develop character and patina over time."
— Andrew Clegg
SHOP"Our factory was initially established in 1890 to make saddles bridles and harnesses for horses, the sole means of travel in these times. The outer leather on a saddle was a strong cowhide but the underside, also a cowhide called panel hide, had to be a vegetable dyed so that when the horse sweated there was no chemical interaction. Our iconic bridle leather collection is based on a refined version of this traditional manufacturing process.
These pieces were designed and created in our factory, using skills that have been passed down from generation to generation. The are excellent individually or together as a matching set."
— Robert Ettinger
SHOP"The Winston II was developed at the suggestion of a good friend of The Armoury. This gentleman always preferred to have a notebook and a pen handy to record and develop his thoughts. The Winston II allows for a small sized moleskine notebook to be carried discreetly alongside cash and credit cards, a perfect gift for someone on the go."
