The Armoury's newest tailoring feature fabrics we've sourced from the finest mills in the world. Here, we take a deep dive into their origins and offer shirt and tie suggestions to complete the look.

Each season our team sources fabrics from vintage shops and commissions special wools from some of the most esteemed mills in the world. Although our Armoury by Ring Jacket tailoring is Ready-to-Wear, the fabrics are extremely limited and you often won't see them come back again.

This wool/silk/cashmere blend with a speckled twill weave comes from Italian mill E. Thomas. Established by Mr. Ernesto Thomas in Brusimpiano, Italy in 1922, E. Thomas specializes in the production of top quality fabrics made from the most sought after Australian wools. We've paired this jacket with a chambray shirt and Drake's scarf.

This jacket is made up in wool/silk blend with a Donegal herringbone weave from Vitale Barberis Canonico. One of the larger mills we work with, VBC has produced some of our favorite exclusive core fabrics, as well as small batch fabrics such as this. VBC's history goes back over 350 years, and they continue to produce some of the best fabrics in Italy today. We've paired this jacket with a white Armoury shirt and Drake's tie.

This jacket is made up in cashmere/wool blend with a gun-club pattern from E. Thomas. The original gun club check came by its name after being adopted by the American Gun Club in 1874. The pattern was originally known as "The Coigach" and developed in the Ullapool area of Scotland as a "district check." District checks were used as a uniform of sorts for Scottish estates to show off their respective heritage, similar to the tartan patterns used to differentiate clans. We've made it up in one of the signature colorways of red, black and brown.

For this season's cashmere piece, we decided to go with an oversized charcoal/creamy Prince of Wales pattern. A versatile jacket that can be dressed down with jeans or dressed up with a collared shirt and tie. This cashmere was woven by Lanificio di Pray in northernmost Italy, close to the Swiss border. We've paired it with an essential denim shirt and Drake's pocket square.

This season we produced our Model 11 sport coat in a mushroom herringbone wool from Scottish fabric mill, Kynoch. With a heritage stretching back to 1788, the Kynoch name has been synonymous with fine weaving for generations. Here we've paired this jacket with a denim shirt, colorful scarf and cream trousers.

Another check from Italian mill E. Thomas, again in a wool/cashmere blend. This check features a subtle teal mixed in with grey and blue. We've paired this jacket with a white button-down shirt and mid-grey flannel trousers.

This Prince of Whales from Vitale Barberis Canonico is one of our favorite jackets in this season's collection. Something that can be worn in a more casual setting, yet can easily be dressed up as seen here. We've paired it with a blue button-down shirt and neckwear from Tie Your Tie.

This jacket was inspired by Autumnal color palettes, pairing textured browns with burnt oranges and yellows. The wool/cashmere blend was woven by E. Thomas. We've paired this jacket with a chambray shirt and colorful scarf and pocket square. Wear it with some cotton trousers or our sport chinos for a more casual look.

Lumb's Golden bale has been a favorite of ours for quite some time. There is no compromise on quality and only the best raw materials are used for production. We selected this exceptional cloth, in a beautiful royal navy twill, to be made in our house double-breasted Model 6. We've paired it with an Armoury shirt and Drake's tie.
