Mark Cho revisits one of our classics, The Armoury Sport Chino.
“As with our polo, our Short Chino has its roots in the world of sportswear. We evolved these classics to fit with our vision of a tailored wardrobe. The cut is medium rise and slightly tapered so they are comfortable as they are flattering.”
“We have a small pocket as a detail near the waistband, perfect for a lighter or a few coins. The sides of the trouser feature lapped seams with only a single rather than a double stitch to better match a tailored sport coat. The trousers are made in washable, medium-weight cotton that holds a crease and ages well.”
“I still have my pairs from when we first launched the Sport Chino. They have held up beautifully over the years.
It is one of my favorite products at The Armoury and I am pleased to have new colors in addition to pleated versions this year. They are a constant, steady companion on my travels and I hope they will serve you well, too.”
As we enter our 10th year in New York, we wanted to celebrate this season with a look back at some of our favorite stories and memories. Over the next few months, we'll be focusing on 10 stories that highlight some of our favorite products, new and old.
