Over the years, we've added to our house collection of Scottish made crewnecks and cardigans with knitwear from Heimat of Germany, and Andersen-Andersen of Denmark.
Heimat use traditional knitting machinery to create hardy knitwear from high quality yarns. All of their pieces are made in a small factory in Germany, famous for their high quality and attention to detail. Their silhouette is modern although they take inspiration from nautical references including classic U.S. Navy sweaters.
The husband and wife duo behind Andersen-Andersen set out to make their interpretation of the sailor sweater. Drawing on the maritime tradition of Denmark and utilising the knitting expertise of Italy, they have made something contemporary, understated and unique.
We developed our own line of knitwear in partnership with a historic Scottish mill. Each of our designs is exclusive to The Armoury, featuring specific details and refined fit which make them the perfect compliment to tailoring and casual outfits.
