The Armoury’s own Model 12 is our take on work jackets of the 1930’s. Removing the front dart, as well as changing the lapel and pockets, gives this model its on distinct look. It’s standout feature is the one-piece back, combined with a dartless front for an overall seamless affect, perfect for uninterrupted larger patterns. It features the same unpadded shoulder and enlarged sleeve head as our Model 3 jackets and is extremely comfortable with an exceptional range of motion. We’ve widened the shoulders slightly and lowered the buttoning point and lapel notches to give the jacket a more timeless feel. The triple patch pockets feature added machine stitching to give the jacket a more casual feel, so it can be easily paired with our sport chinos and denim. This version is made up in a deep olive wool fabric that Ring Jacket calls “Balloon” - meant to mimic the properties of jersey while retaining the benefits of pure wool, it leads to a soft, brushed finish.
