We’re very excited to introduce the second generation of our Armoury shoe collection. Our shoes are designed in collaboration with Yohei Fukuda, one of the greatest bespoke shoemakers in the world, and are made in Northampton, England where Fukuda once trained. With a low-slung silhouette and sweeping lines, we gave our shoe last a soft, almond toe while widening the ball of the foot to ensure comfort.
To finish it off, we do not stitch down the strap of the loafer to the vamp of the loafer. This allows a little more give in the instep of the loafer, leading to a more comfortable vamp. This makes the shoes immediately more comfortable and allows for less creasing, while keeping with a sleek profile.
Debuting our Jiro 次郎 means second son as it is the second last we’ve designed with Yohei Fukuda. The last has a soft almond toe, fits slightly tighter in the heel, and adds more space in the toe box and forefoot. The last is also very suited to people who have fallen arches.
The Armoury shoes come in UK sizes. To convert US to UK sizing, please subtract 1 size from your normal US size for the right fit. We do not recommend sizing down half a size for this loafer.
