We took a field trip to Washington, D.C. to meet with clients and showcase pieces from our new collection.
We have customers from all around the world, and we're always curious about their lives outside the time spent in our shops. So this season, Dan, Jim and Dick took a field trip to Washington, D.C. to visit some friends and clients and learn more about their hometown.
Our knit sleeveless cardigans are a great way to layer for those 'shoulder season' days of early Autumn. We introduced several new colors this season in both merino and cashmere.
Shop NowWe introduced our Ivy inspired jacket last fall and it's quickly become one of our favorites. Shown here is our new Model 11 in a mushroom herringbone wool from Scottish fabric mill, Kynoch founded in 1788.
Shop The Model 11Our very own Model A trousers from Ring Jacket. Seen here in a mid-weight cotton/wool corduroy by Loro Piana featuring a medium wale.
Shop Model A TrousersWe love the rumpled look of corduroy, but 100% cotton versions can be a bit stiff. This season's Loro Piana cord remedies that with a cotton/wool blend that gives the cloth more drape and ease.
Shop CorduroyInspired by French-American painter and writer Marcel Duchamp, The Armoury exclusive “Marc” Cravecord coat is an updated version of the Coherence “Mutt” coat. The style is originally derived from the dispatch rider’s coat from the mandatory motor messengers in WWII. This season we're introducing a lighter weight brown microfiber.
Shop the Marc CoatThe “Corb” model is inspired by French architect Le Corbusier and features raglan sleeves, flapped hacking pockets and large turnback cuffs. Made in a luxurious wool/cashmere blend, this basketweave cloth is part of Coherence's 5-year anniversary collection.
Shop the CorbThis season we're introducing a new edition of the Ring Jacket ulster coat. With over 10 centimeters added in length, this is the coat to keep you warm this season.
Shop the UlsterOrazio Luciano jackets are completely handmade in the traditional Neapolitan style with a soft canvas, spalla camicia, generous lapels and the signature barchetta breast pocket. We made this heavy twill sport coat in a soft wool/cashmere blend from Loro Piana.
Shop Orazio LucianoLino Pommella, previously the head trouser cutter at Rubinacci, started his own tailoring house that specializes in classic Neapolitan trousers. Lino comes from a family with over 50 years of bespoke trouser experience. This model is made up in a 100% cotton moleskin fabric, which we reversed to expose the rough side for harder wearing while keeping the comfortable brushed side against the skin.
Shop Pommella NapoliHeimat stands for traditional silhouette interpreted for modern day living. Their contemporary products incorporate a German tradition for high quality. Heimat knitwear finds inspiration from classic U.S. Navy sweaters. Heimat’s Mini Rollneck Sweater is based on classic New England Sweaters, such as those worn by fisherman up and down the East Coast of the U.S.
Shop HeimatThe Armoury’s latest Model 6 double-breasted suit is something we’ve worked very hard on. Featuring a lower, more horizontal lapel that sweeps out wide and straight, it’s incredibly classic and wearable. Seen here in a medium weight wool from Vitale Barberis Canonico that provides a crisp look for the cooler months.
Shop The Model 6Although traditionally used as coating, covert cloth has become one of our go-to suggestions for Autumn/Winter suiting. Hard-wearing and textured with a beautiful drape, covert will get you through almost any situation that requires a suit as the temperature dips.
Shop CovertMany guys struggle with what to buy after the basic navy and grey suits. We think this dark chocolate high-twist is an easy and versatile addition to any conservative wardrobe.
Shop HereThe Model 3 sport coat sits at the core of our tailoring offering. With no padding and a raised armhole, it’s supremely comfortable. The Model 3 combines traditional tailoring styles & techniques from around the world and exemplifies what we mean by “international classic.” Seen here in a wool/silk/cashmere blend with speckled twill weave from E. Thomas.
Shop The Model 3 Sport CoatWe’re excited to introduce this season’s edition of our 3 Pocket Blouson, part of our new Dayware collection. Made in a hearty Rob Roy Tartan from Abraham Moon, this blouson features horn buttons, three front pockets and an unstructured, unlined construction.
Order HereThe Armoury’s own Model 3 suit features the same extended, unpadded shoulders and enlarged sleevehead as our Model 3 sport coat. We’ve maintained the lower buttoning point and lapel notches to give the jacket a more timeless feel. Made up in a mid-weight wool covert by Vitale Barberis Canonico, this blue suit will quickly become a favorite in your Fall/Winter wardrobe.
Shop Model 3 SuitsWe’re excited to introduce the latest piece in our Dayware collection, The Wright Jacket, named for the Wright Brothers. It’s inspired by flight jackets from the early 20th century, particularly the A1 and A2.
Shop The Wright JacketMade in collaboration with Ascot Chang, The Armoury is proud to present our popular safari jacket in a slate blue wool tweed. It features bellowed pockets, a half belt with side button tabs, horn buttons and an inverted back pleat for greater movement in the arms. Our tweed safari jacket serves as both an insulating and practical layer to wear during the fall and winter.
